Here is a template for a writing journal that can be used in grades 3-6.

This is a great place for your students to respond to a writing prompt or just a place for the to express their thoughts and feelings. You can also use this as a tool when teaching the writing process. For example, start with having your students brainstorm on a web. Follow it up with a rough draft and proofreading. Finally, they may do their finaly copy in the journal. This journal can be used in a structured or open ended setting. This is a great way for your students to express their creativity through writing!
